At Libravie we aim to ensure a happy transaction between buyers & sellers that is reflected in our policies. To strengthen a secure trading evironment, we have compiled a list of advice for buyers to take precautions before paying for goods & services.
DO NOT MAKE PAYMENT UNTIL THE GOODS ARE WITH YOU, EITHER WHEN YOU VISIT IN PERSON OR THE PRODUCT IS DELIVERED TO YOU – This will keep fraudulant behaviour to a minimum
Ask as many questions about the product/service as you can
Look out for discrepencies in advert or conversation
Be wary of deals that seem too good to be true or sellers pressuring quick decisions
Be aware of prices far below market or requests for payment upfront
Sellers are not allowed to sell products they do not possess, so avoid any payment for goods arriving later
Research sellers, read reviews, and trust your instincts to avoid fraud like fake listings
In your communication with the seller you can ask for more photos of items or any related documents etc
When finalising a transaction always meet at seller’s premises or in a public place preferably during the day
Inspect product is as specified in the ad and communication
Only make payment when the item is in hand
Report any questionable or deceptive behaviour by any of the users on Libravie.com via email at reportuser@libravie.com
